Today’s Food Rock Star is Kalyn Denny. I’ve followed Kalyn’s blog for some time now. She was among the first bloggers I contacted way back in November 2008 to share a recipe for my holiday food gifts post. Since then I was lucky enough to meet her at BlogHer Food Conferences. She’s very giving and loves to share good food with folks. Her blog is not a gluten free blog but she does have a lot of gluten free recipes and many more that are easily adaptable. Kalyn was very kind to me when I started my blog and taught me a lot about blogging etiquette. I hope you enjoy getting to know Kalyn.

Kalyn is indeed a rock star! I was slow to find her blog, but I've been amazed at all the sensational recipes she shares. I'd say most are naturally gluten free, which of course is my favorite way to go. Plus, like you said, she's very generous with her time and sharing her food blogging wisdom! I'm a big, big fan of Kalyn's. It was great to read her interview and see her faves. Salmon and garbanzo beans, I'm with you, Kalyn! Looking forward to you continuing your blog for many years! Thanks, Diane, for sharing Kalyn with us! 🙂
Shirley
Love these "up close and personal" features about my favorite bloggers. You've picked a good one to showcase with Kalyn's Kitchen!
Poetry? Wow, I love poetry and write some myself. Have you shared some of that on your blog, Kalyn? If not, please do!
This was a fun read and Shirley's right, I've used many of Kalyn's recipes over the years since most are GF by default. That's what happens when you focus on fresh ingredients.

Thanks so much for featuring me. Now I am off to read about some of the other bloggers you've talked about!
Diane, this is a great series. Love Kalyn's blog! Her recipes are so simple and straight-forward.
You are totally a food rock star! You have a huge knowledge in different branches like education, politics, and the specialty of cooking and even to be an attorney. That’s pretty nice!
