I always like to set expectations and let people know what is going on. Here at The WHOLE Gang I’ve worked on posting 5-6 days a week. Well some of you may have noticed that this is changing. My new posting schedule will be Tuesday-Thursday for now. (yes I know this is not one of those days) For some of you this may be a welcomed change. Only three a week to catch up on and not something in your email every day. For others you may not like that the number is being decreased. To those I would offer up the chance to go back and check out some past posts. Especially if you have not been reading this blog since it began in 2008.
For those who receive the newsletter you know it has already changed from monthly to bi-monthly. I’m actually working on the March/April issue so if you have any requests on information you would like to see please let me know. I always like to include a recipe that can’t be found on the blog and whatever is important to you. Did you get to read February’s newsletter with the recipe for Chilaquiles and info on 6 different cookbooks?
I also want to make sure that you take some time to poke around the blog. There are many different pages which can be found at the very top bar of the blog and categories for posts found on the bar starting with home. If you are looking for recipes that contain a certain ingredient go to the Tag box. This can be found on the right side bar on one of the 4 tabs that lead off with Popular. There you will also find links to latest and comments.
I want to thank you so much for reading and supporting this blog. It really means a lot to me. I love to hear stories of recipes you’ve made and ones you’ve changed. It’s great when you link up recipes on Thursdays and we all get to see new ideas. I truly enjoy this food community.
Keep looking over this year as the blog will continue to change as I continue my studies and food exploration. I hope to be able to share more information with you and some tasty recipes.
Well, the thought of posting even just 2 days a week is overwhelming to me, so whatever you do is impressive! And to be honest, I'm more likely to read an entire blog post if they are fewer and farther between. Your posts are interesting — I'd rather have fewer of them so I don't miss any. =) And "poking around the blog" is a good thing. This will give me more time to do that. Keep up the good work! I agree, I love this food community, too, and you're an important part of it. Thank you!

Thank you Melissa. You know the things I worry about are in my head usually, not really out there. It's mostly me I had to convince to change. I hope others will enjoy less posts to read too. Thank you for the support. It means a lot!
Hey girlfriend, I always read, but I don't always get time to comment because of the past frequency of your posting. So I love your new approach! I've been posting less, too, and getting far more comments and actual feedback on the recipes because folks have time to make them and come back to find the post still there. Then they comment with their reviews. I love that! Like you said, there's much on one's blog that folks haven't even seen yet. It's nice for us and our readers to know what to expect and not feel like we're running to keep up. 🙂
xo,
Shirley
