A week’s worth of gluten and dairy free menu ideas and recipes. This week I’ve decided it’s time to start eating the leftovers from the freezer. They are taking over and should be consumed. So I made a list of all the ready to go meals and cooked meats. I think I can make it through a long time eating from the freezer in one form or another.
The week will end with an Hawaiian celebration as we watch the NFL Pro Bowl. That means the following Sunday is the Super Bowl. Have you started planning where you will be watching the game and what you will be eating? Well some of you may not be a sports nut like me but start thinking about your game plan. There were some great recipes shared this week. I hope you’ll check back this Thursday too.
Don’t forget Thursdays are Real Food Weekly blog carnivals.
Have a great week and if you’re in the Northeast with me, stay warm my friend.

I haven't planned a darned thing Diane, my brain seems to be stuck this year, LOL! I'm gonna check out more of your ideas, I LOVE your Hawaiian celebration! Realizing that I'm just not thinking enough outside the box (stuck on nachos, corn dogs and buffalo wings from years past, but all of those ingredients have suddenly gone "poof!")
Thanks for giving me my mojo back! 😀

We use MFW (my fathers world) for our homeschool curriculum and we are studying different countries/cultures. We are finishing our last week of africa and now I have a wonderful recipe to go with it. Off to print the West African Chicken and Peanut Stew! Thanks a bunch!
I love freezer weeks! They remind me of recipes that I loved making, gives me a little break from the kitchen, and allows me to catch up on other neglected tasks. We freeze leftovers in single portions for quick and easy lunches at work.
Oh I'm craving that a peanut soup/stew now! I only wish my husband liked them better.
Looks like a great week at your house this week, wish I lived closer 🙂
Me too Carol. I'm sharing a link to your Hawaiian Meatballs on my menu for this week.
