Snow, snow, snow. I hope we are done with snow but I hear it’s coming back this week. Last week’s storm hit right at rush hour which caused huge problems. Many people were stuck in their cars on the roads for anywhere from 2 to 10 hours. If you live somewhere that this may happen please make sure you have supplies in your car. Water, coconut water, snacks like a really good trail mix. And don’t venture out without a full tank of gas.
This week I’m sharing what some of my favorite bloggers are cooking. Please check out these recipes and make sure you stop and say hello on their blog.
I’ll be clearing out my refrigerator this week so I can make room for the Super Bowl Party foods. Later this week I’ll share my menu with recipes and tons of great recipes from other blogs that you’ll just love.
What do you have on your menu for the week? If you’re not checking to see what food you have on hand and then working them into your menu then you’re wasting money. If you just can’t come up with any ideas, well use the menu below.

Sunchokes … now that is a food I've never had. Will have to add it to the list!
Alisa me either. I picked some up and then ran out of potatoes. Now I have it all but you have to make the chile oil the day ahead. Let me know if you try any. I'm working on trying a new food a week. I need to branch out especially in the winter.
Sunchokes are actually really good. I use them in place of potatoes in vegetable broth. They also add a nice mild tasting crunch to salads.
The snow looks beautiful, Diane. Wish it weren't such a pain to get around in!
Oh man, I am freezing just looking at that photo! Keep warm my friend! At least you will have a good week of eating.
