Veal Paprika resting to intensify flavors

This is going to be one of those busy school weeks.  Back to school night, soccer games, meetings and anything else you can list that will keep me out of the kitchen most nights.  So I’m cooking over the weekend for the week.  Some things I can finish up the night I serve, some I just need to reheat and on Wednesday I’ll be home to cook!

Later this week I’ll show you all of the amazing recipes I’ve been cooking from Shauna James Ahern and Danny Ahern’s new cookbook.  I am going to love cooking my way through this book.  Of course the story in the book is amazing but more on that later this week.  For now I’ll just tease you with my menu.

Monday– Picnic at school- cold orange ginger cardamom chicken breast (recipe from Artie’s Party) and Salad

Tuesday– Veal Paprika from Gluten-Free Girl and The Chef’s new cookbook with roasted potatoes

Wednesday– Danny’s meatloaf  with Potato Puree ( both from Gluten-Free Girl and the Chef- a Love Story with 100 Recipes)

Thursday– Petrale sole with mushroom duxelle and cilantro- mustard sauce from Gluten-Free Girl and the Chef

Friday– Chipotle Chicken and Sweet Potatoes in the crockpot from Stephanie O’DeaMake It Fast, Cook It Slow

Saturday– Leftovers

SundayPesto Shrimp on Polenta Portobellos

I can't wait to see more on you cooking from Shauna's cookbook 🙂 And I just saw the Aarti Party episode with the orange chicken. It looks delicious.
