Menu Plan Monday – March 22, 2010

What a glorious weekend.  The weather was amazing finally.  Got out and dug in the garden, pulled weeds, got rid of dead shrub and I’m still not done.  So now I’m exhausted and I’m looking forward to going back to work at my desk for a little bit.

This week is our Gluten Free Progressive Easter Dinner Party.  I hope you will visit everyone and check in to see what they are making.  Here’s the schedule:

Monday March 22nd Shirley at gluten free easily will be serving the Appetizer.

Tuesday March 23rd I will be serving the Salad.

Wednesday March 24th Katrina at Gluten Free Gidget will be serving the Main Course.

Thursday March 25th Shirley at gluten free easily will be serving the side dish.

Friday March 26th Shirley from gluten free easily will be serving Dessert.

Now here is our family menu for the week:

Monday – Scallop Pasta with Chorizo

Tuesday – Chipotle Burger on a Bun with Tomatillo Salsa

Wednesday – Have on Hand Soup

Thursday – Buffalo Shrimp

Friday – Beef and Noodles

Saturday – Pork and Lentils

Sunday – Winter Fire Roasted Tomato Soup with Prosciutto Topping

Don’t forget this week’s Secret Ingredient for Friday Foodie Fix is Carrots.  If you have a lamb recipe head to the Friday Foodie Fix page and revisit last week.

More menus can be found on OrgJunkie.

Looks like another great week of eating real food–love that!! 🙂 Another progressive dinner party–such fun. I finally got my post up this morning before I came to work. If only I'd gotten the brevity gene that you and others have! LOL Looking forward to your salad tomorrow.

Oh, sorry, no lamb recipes … I've enjoyed it for sure, but I admit it's hard to think of eating lamb with Easter coming and images of baby chicks, baby ducks, AND scampering lambs in my head. Another gf blogger tweeted with a lamb recipe last night and I suggested it be posted here, but didn't get a reply. Hopefully, it will show up. Despite my Easter squeamishness, it did sound good … lamb in a rosemary sauce. 😉
