Weekend Kitchen Tip – Writing Tip for Food Bloggers

Are you a food blogger? Would you like an insiders tip from writing expert  Dianne Jacob, who wrote Will Write For Food?  She shared this one with me at the BlogHer Food Conference.  If you want more great insights, check out her book, website and blog.  She’s even having a writing contest while she’s away teaching at the First Food Blogger Camp.  Sure hope they offer this camp again next year.  It sounds wonderful!

Do you have any good writing tips for food bloggers?  I’d love to hear yours too.  Please feel free to share them in the comments section.

Thanks for the tips, Diane (E)! I'm going to check out Dianne Jacobs' book and blog now! I'm a brand new blogger, not to mention food blogger, and I'm really enjoying it so far, but I know I could use some help! Thanks again!

Another nice tip … "just do it" does seem to be the best advice for so many things, doesn't it? We have to "do" to learn and get better. Another great video/tip from another great blogger, Diane. Thanks so much for this series!

Like your new look although I think I took an even better photo of you at BlogHer Food. 😉

    Hugs,

    Shirley

Shirley- Yeah, you're right. That just doing it thing shows up a lot. Why is it so much easier to say than do? Well I think I'll keep that posted above my computer.

I love these videos. I still have a couple left. I can't wait until another group meeting where I can get more great ideas from food bloggers. They have so much to share! If the photo you have makes me look 10 years younger, send it along please.

Hey Diane, thanks so much for putting this interview with me up on your site. As much as it's excruciating to see myself on film, I love the way it turned out. I hope it helps people move forward.

And you're right — it's easier to say than do, but we could be a little less critical of ourselves.

    Best,
    Dianne
