Menu Plan Monday – November 23

This has been a fun food weekend with plans for a fun food week.   I’m very fortunate to get the opportunity to eat out at some amazing restaurants this week.  I had dinner Saturday night with Chef Michel Richard.  Well, he was actually a few tables away, but we were eating at the same time.  This was at Oyamel in Washington, DC.  However on Tuesday this week I will get to eat at one of his restaurants, Central Richard.  I will share my gluten free review of that experience on my other blog, Gluten Free Food Critic.  Check out the reviews for the restaurants I’ve already shared.

Also, did you realize this week is Thanksgiving.  It totally snuck up on us, I wish.  If you are still looking for some great gluten free recipes I hope you will review the great ones shared for the Gluten Free Thanksgiving Progressive Dinner.  Here is what was shared from The Whole Life Nutrition, gfe-gluten free easily, Gluten Free Girl, Cook4Seasons, Gluten Free Organics, A Year of Slow Cooking, Book of Yum and me:

Diane – this is a great roundup, I’m feeling hungry now and it’s bedtime here!

The shallot green beans sound great! I might make those. You could even add a tiny bit of water at the end of cooking time, put the lid on, and steam slightly to soften them a bit more (like for toddlers who need those foods a little more cooked).

Ali- sounds like you would like my MIL green beans. Kids love them and they are a little more cooked. Us Philly kids like crunchy green beans. Sorry about the hungry before bedtime. That happens to me a lot. Had to stop reading food blogs at night. 🙂

Have fun at the restaurant. Sounds like you're in for a treat.

Yummy menu! I so want to head to your house for dinner.

I'm enjoying blog visiting while I'm watching "Law & Order" on TNT.

    Happy Thanksgiving!
