Weekend Kitchen Tip – Gluten Free Easily

Our weekend kitchen tip is brought to you by Shirley Braden from Gluten Free Easily.  Shirley shared this while attending the BlogHer Food Conference.  I think she has some great advice and if we all followed this life would be better on so many levels.

Shirley was my partner in crime at BlogHer Food Conference.  She and I toured around San Francisco together and had a blast.  She has a wonderful website full of great information, recipes, photos and stories.  I hope you will visit her soon if you have not already.

Have a great weekend.

Oh my gosh, Diane, you've got me on YouTube now. Wow. I don't know what the heck was going on with my eyes in that interview (my way of being nervous? I never knew … LOL), but thanks so much for sharing my gfe approach to gluten free eating. What I should have added is that the food you eat while eating gfe makes it a win-win for everyone–not just folks who are eating gluten free. So you can feed your family and friends without them thinking you're feeding them something weird and they can follow the same approach to feed you safely. 🙂

Thanks again! You're the best, my partner in crime! Hey, when's our next adventure? Oh, and I can't wait to see the rest of these interviews!

    Hugsss,

    Shirley

Shirley- You did great. It's always hard to have a camera pointed at you. You did that in one take which is amazing. Great information and great tip. Thank you for sharing it with us.

Thanks Diane for letting us meet Shirley. Her blog is so fun and full of good information and ideas. Amen, Shirley. Eating all that white starchy stuff with weird gums to make it look like real food can make me feel sick and I may as well just spread the stuff on my backside cause that's where all those empty calories go. I'm so jealous you two got to hang out together.

Wendy- Happy to introduce you to Shirley. You are very funny. I know exactly what you mean. That's where my empty calories go too. 🙂

So glad that you captured Shirley at the conference and shared her with us! I just love her culinary point of view – I eat almost no mainstream GF processed food, to which I attribute all my weight-loss success. My body craves healthier food now. (It also craves ice cream…but in a good way.)

Amy- Glad you enjoyed Shirley. She's wonderful. It's wonderful how the body looks after us. Once you are eating healthy food it starts to crave it. I wonder how we get it to totally forget all of that chocolate?
