Linda- Duck can be pricey. I like making it stretch with other meats.

Sounds tasty. I'll have to look for duck breast if I ever get myself over to Whole Foods. I've been wanting to go to look for Daiya cheese anyway. Thanks for linking up your burgers.

Alta- I get my duck breast in the freezer section at Whole Foods. It's in a box and it comes 2 breasts to the box for the 12-14 ounces. I believe the box cost me $13. That's not cheap but the recipe does make a lot of burgers. I find my local Whole Foods to have better prices than my local Wegman's. I did a price comparison one day. I was really surprised but happy since I shop mostly at Whole Foods. Good luck with the duck!

Sounds like a decadent burger to me! I could really go for this. Wonder where I can get some duck breast? I can buy whole ducks at the Asian grocery, but I haven't found duck breast. Probably for a high price I can find some at Whole Foods...but I'd rather not pay a lot of money, LOL!

Shirley- Well I'm always game to come up with new burgers for any meal. I love burgers. They are little packages full of flavor. They are usually easier and faster to make and cost less than the original full blown meal. Love that! So when we meet up I'll bring you some duck and anything else you're missing. Did you know you can order duck from Amazon! Is there anything they don't sell?

Is there anything you can't turn into a burger or slider? I think not! These sound and look amazing, Diane! I had no idea on the andoullie sausage and file powder. You are always teaching me something. :-) Thanks so much for shout out on the cornbread recipe, too. Makes me want to make it and your burgers right now. I bet you won't be surprised to know that my basic grocery store doesn't carry duck though. Will have to get some the next time I'm in a real grocery store. LOL

Thanks!
