Weekend Kitchen Tip – Flour and Pie Crusts

Our tips today are brought to you by two wonderful bloggers I met at BlogHer Food Conference back in September.  I thought their tips would be great the weekend you might be baking for the Thanksgiving holiday.

Alanna Kellogg writes two blogs, Kitchen Parade and A Veggie Venture.

Nicole Weston writes Baking Bites blog and has a new cookbook out with the same title. Baking Bites It’s available on her blog.

Neither of these ladies blog gluten free but the longer you eat gluten free, the easier it will be for you to take a gluten containing recipe and change it around.  For those of you that don’t eat dairy, like me, well I think I’m going to still give this tip a try with the Earth Balance Buttery Spread.  I bet it will work out just great.  And I asked Alanna if her tip applied to gluten free flours and she said yes, all flours.

I hope you will visit their blogs and learn about some new things to eat.  Tell them I said hi!  If  you give their tip a try I’d love to hear from you.

Good luck with all of your baking and cooking over these next few days.
