Finally, got my current post up and shared another good one. :-) Love all the great shrimp facts (especially the one about keeping the mood "fresh") and the video!
Looks like everyone has outdone themselves again this week. :-) Thanks for the roundup, Diane! Have a great weekend!

Oops- I was having trouble commenting on the page with the polenta shrimp recipe and accidentally posted my comment HERE- it kind of makes no sense because I was responding to another comment. Would you mind deleting the comment I accidentally posted here? And this goofy message too, hehe.
Thanks Diane! Loved your recipes I tried. Don't know what you were worried about. ;)

Err, shrimp isn't really iffy while pregnant- it's low in mercury, which is the main problem with some fishes. And, as long as it isn't raw, there shouldn't be a problem. Every pregnancy book and midwife/doctor I've read or heard from says it is fine. I have to admit I made this with tempeh instead of shrimp to make it more suitable for my vegetarian blog (I've adopted Diane for my adopt-a-gluten-free blogger event at the Book of Yum), but either way, it is delicious!

Wow! I never knew those fascinating facts about shrimp. Great photos. My kids love shrimp. They aren't big fans of seafood, but they love when I cook shrimp. My recipe for Shrimp with Bok Choy and Corn is great because it's simple, easy, delicious, and gluten free!
