Monthly Menu Plan –May

Are you ready to save money on your grocery bills this month?  I know I am.  Let’s see how much we can save this month instead of spend.  First, do your inventory.  If you want my inventory chart email me and I’ll email it to you.  Then, use that inventory to plan out your monthly menu.  Make note on your menu planner of the dinners that will need to be Minute Meals and ones where it just needs to be reheat.   There is no sense planning a meal you have no time to make because you only have 15 minutes between soccer practice and the evening meeting.  This is when that inventory that includes the cooked foods in your freezer makes all the difference in the world.

Please leave a comment if you are going to try this for May.  Make sure you count up how much you spent on groceries last month and then at the end of May.  Then at the end of the month let us know how much money you saved.  It can be a % or a $ amount.

Here is my menu based on what I have on hand and I’ll buy a few fresh foods to accompany the meals.
